An online campaign encouraging students to review their universities on the Whatuni platform.
'Here at Whatuni we believe that what students think really matters. Words have power. And such is the power of words that by reviewing your uni, YOUR words could literally change the course of someone's life - by making them think differently about their future, or inspiring them to consider a city, uni or course they never previously thought of.'
I was commissioned to make this film by IDP Connect after submitting the winning brief on the Genero platform. This video was made for university comparison website Whatuni, for the launch of their campaign called 'The Power of Words', which evolves around the idea that ‘what you write today could change someone’s life tomorrow’.
The primary objective of the campaign is to encourage students to go online to whatuni.com/reviews and review their uni, so the client was seeking an emotive, inspirational and powerful hero film. In addition to the hero film, various cutdowns in different formats were created to be used across their website and social channels in support of the Whatuni Review Collection process.
The online campaign was incredibly successful and garnered hundreds of thousands of impressions and tens of thousands of conversions that lead to real results, specifically thousands of new reviews on the Whatuni website.
